3.My favourite Film

Hello! Today I'm going to tell you about one of my favorite movies. First I have to give you the context. A few years ago I got addicted to Marvel movies, the first one I saw is the one I'm going to tell you about: Doctor Strange.

I chose this Movie because it was the first one I saw of the MCU, I feel that the plot of the movie is very interesting and it is not necessary to see all the other movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), although it is the 14 installment of the Universe. I also like how the different thoughts of science versus magic and the "unreal" are shown.

The movie is about Stephen Strange, one of the best neurosurgeon doctors in New York City, and the arrogance that is created in him thanks to this is worth mentioning. After a tragic car accident, his hands are seriously injured, which leads to the end of his career as a neurosurgeon. Strange falls into despair because of this and begins to look for a solution to his shivering hands (for him useless hands). Within his research he finds a paraplegic patient who walked again, and in Strange's desperation he goes to look for him. This is how Doctor Strange embarks on a journey around the world looking for a solution for his hands and to be able to return to normal life, what he does not know is what awaits him on his journey, which will not be just an earthly journey.

Doctor Strange, the protagonist of the film, is played by Benedict Cumberbatch. Other important characters in the film are: Ancestral, played by Tilda Swinton; Wong, played by Benedict Wong; Christine Palmer played by Rachel McAdams; among others. The film was directed by Scott Derrickson.

One of my favorite scenes is when Doctor Strange confronts Dormammu, a character from the dark dimension and Strange abuses his power with the time gem and decides to create a loop in time making Dormammu frustrated with the situation. From this comes one of my favorite lines from the movie, "Dormammu, I've come to bargain."

Anyway, I feel like I already mentioned a lot of things about the movie and I wouldn't want to create any spoilers for the person who wants to watch it. Anyway, for people who don't like Marvel they could give this movie a chance, as they don't need to see any other movie after this one to enjoy it like any other MCU movie. I'll leave the recommendation here and I'll say goodbye, bye bye.

  3. I haven't seen this movie yet, but I do know the character superficially from other MARVEL movies. I didn't know anything about his past, but from what you say is intriguing. When I have time I will see it.

  4. Marvel movies always transport us to the surreal scene. It is similar to entering the extraterrestrial world and they have many references related to astrophysical phenomena. It seems like a very interesting movie. Greetings!
